What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. This page lists every one earthmeta.ai uses and lets you change your choice at any time.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work and remember the choices you make on it. They do not track you and do not need your consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you picked | 1 year |
| em_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 180 days |
Optional (only if you accept)
These are set by third parties and load only after you click “Accept all”. If you choose “Essential only”, they never load.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| intercom-id-*, intercom-device-id-* | Intercom support chat: recognises your browser so your conversation continues | Up to 9 months |
| intercom-session-* | Intercom support chat: keeps your current chat session | 1 week |
| X (Twitter) cookies | Displays embedded posts on the Media page | Set by X, up to 2 years |
Without optional cookies, the support chat is not available; you can still reach us from the Contact page or by email.
Embedded videos
Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube does not store cookies before you press play; once you play a video, YouTube may store data in your browser under its own policy.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no third-party analytics cookies.
