The role
You will build the backbone that keeps the marketplace fast and correct at scale: the APIs, the on-chain indexer, search and pricing. When thousands of listings move at once, your services keep up.
What you'll do
- Build and scale the marketplace API and the services behind it.
- Index on-chain events reliably and reconcile them with off-chain state.
- Own search, filtering and pricing data so the app feels instant.
- Design for throughput, observability and graceful failure.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in back-end engineering with high-throughput systems in production.
- Strong with Node or a comparable back-end stack and SQL.
- Experience with indexing, queues, caching and search infrastructure.
- You think about correctness, scale and failure modes by default.
Nice to have
- Experience indexing blockchain data (subgraphs, custom indexers).
- Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Redis, or event-driven architectures.
