Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how EarthMeta LTD, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“EarthMeta”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit earthmeta.ai, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, apply for a role or a partnership, or use EarthMeta products such as the platform at app.earthmeta.ai.
For the personal data described here, EarthMeta is the controller. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@earthmeta.ai.
What we collect
We only collect what we need for the purpose you came for:
- Newsletter: your email address and the date you subscribed and confirmed.
- Contact, partner, press and blog-submission forms: your name, email address, the message you write and anything you choose to attach or link (for example a company, a website or social profiles).
- Job applications: your name, email address, CV, portfolio links, and any other information you include in your application.
- Support chat (only if you accept optional cookies): the messages you send, and technical data such as browser, device, approximate location derived from your IP address and the pages you view while chatting.
- Platform and marketplace: your wallet address and the transactions it makes. These are recorded on the public Ethereum blockchain, not by us alone.
- Affiliate Program: your referral activity, the purchases attributed to your link, your commission and payout records, your payout wallet and, for payouts above the identity threshold, the identity-verification information requested at that time.
- Card purchases: handled by our third-party payment provider. EarthMeta does not receive or store your full card number.
- Technical data: our servers keep standard logs (IP address, browser, date and time, page requested) to run, secure and debug the site.
We do not use advertising trackers or sell your personal data.

Public blockchain data
Ownership of EarthMeta cities, lands and other NFTs, and transactions in $EMT, are recorded on the Ethereum blockchain. That record is public, permanent and controlled by no one, including us.
We cannot change or delete data written on-chain. If you link your wallet address to your identity (for example in a public profile or a support message), keep in mind that anyone can see that wallet’s on-chain history.
International transfers
EarthMeta LTD is based in Hong Kong, and some of our providers are in the United States or elsewhere. When personal data from the UK, the EU or another country with transfer rules leaves that country, we rely on an adequacy decision or on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, or its use restricted;
- object to our use of your data based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.
To use any of these rights, email info@earthmeta.ai. We will answer within one month, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
You can also complain to your data-protection authority: in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), in the EU the authority of your country, and in Hong Kong the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (pcpd.org.hk). We would appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.
If you are a California resident, you also have the rights given by the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete and correct personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How we protect it
Forms and pages are served over HTTPS, access to submissions is limited to the team members who need it, and our providers are chosen for their security practices. No system is perfectly secure, so please never send us a seed phrase, private key or password: no one at EarthMeta will ever ask for them.
Age
EarthMeta is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to buy, sell or hold EarthMeta assets. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell subscribers and platform users directly.
