Question 1

What is EarthMeta and what does it consist of?

Accepted Answer

EarthMeta is an echo of the Earth as we know it today. A perfect digital duplicate of the Earth, with the same continents and seas, divided into cities with exact boundaries, streets, monuments, and famous landmarks. The platform contains all the metadata that allows the Earth to be reproduced as perfectly as possible. Most of the world's cities are available on the platform. Buy the city of your choice to become a Governor. Then, divide your city into many assets (NFT landmarks, monuments, buildings, administrations...) and trade them on our marketplace to get a 1% tax on each subsequent transaction made in your city. Benefit from the best in terms of the Staking pool. Open doors with our Augmented Reality App. Create your economy with our APIs. Participate in EarthMeta decisions with our Decentralized Autonomous Organisation (DAO). Collect cities, become the President of your country, and earn even more. With a continuous demand and a limited supply of cities instead of infinite squares of land, EarthMeta aims to become one of the most attractive digital real estate platforms.

Question 2

What is a metaverse?

Accepted Answer

The Metaverse refers to a parallel universe: "Meta" means "beyond", and "verse" means "universe". So we get "beyond the universe" or "parallel universe". The Metaverse is defined as a virtual reality space where users can interact with a computer-generated environment and other users. The term was first used in the 1992 novel "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson. It has become a popular concept since Facebook became Meta, but the idea has existed for decades as a vision for how we might connect in the years to come.

Question 3

What is our mission?

Accepted Answer

EarthMeta has developed a set of smart tools that complete a truly decentralized ecosystem where users are rewarded for their engagement and contributions. We give meaning to our platform by applying the virtual world to our reality while giving life to the Virtual Earth. We built a system where the Governors will be able to create, share, and exchange without central control while benefiting from blockchain, and collect Governor fees on trades in their cities. We made EarthMeta a technology, a game, and a community-based platform while providing additional transparency.

Question 4

What is our vision?

Accepted Answer

Our goal is to build the best decentralized ecosystem where people can access a virtual world that would be a reincarnation of ours. So identical that it would be possible to merge with it. Our welcoming, transparent, challenging, rewarding, and fully functional platform will allow us to attract and retain new users, with farming, staking and other protocols built in.

Question 5

Where is EarthMeta's team from?

Accepted Answer

EarthMeta is a multinational and multicultural organization. Our team brings together people's skills, knowledge, and expertise, regardless of international borders, to make this Metaverse. The team is composed of young and experienced professionals who have been involved in the project since the beginning to implement our vision.

Question 6

Where is EarthMeta's office and headquarters based?

Accepted Answer

EarthMeta Team has remote employees operating from all over the world. The headquarters is based in Hong Kong.

Question 7

What is the EarthMeta Token ($EMT)?

Accepted Answer

EarthMeta Token ($EMT) is the backbone of EarthMeta's economy. It enhances liquidity by serving as a common currency for transactions, making buying, selling, and trading assets seamless and efficient. With a total supply of 2,100,000,000 tokens, $EMT is designed to facilitate transactions, provide liquidity, and enable governance within EarthMeta. Token holders can vote on proposals and initiatives, shaping the future direction of the platform. Stake your $EMT when staking windows open and get rewarded. The platform features a unique farming system, where governors can build their own economies and collect fees from local transactions.

Question 8

How can I buy and manage EMT?

Accepted Answer

EMT can be bought and managed directly through the EarthMeta platform: purchase in-app and see your balance right away. Because $EMT is a standard ERC-20 token on Ethereum, you can also hold and manage your tokens in your own wallet. $EMT is also listed on supported exchanges: Uniswap (decentralized) and XT.com (centralized). Full details and live market data are on the EMT page. If you have any questions or need assistance, you can open the chatbox in the bottom-left corner of your screen and contact our support team.

Question 9

What is the role of $EMT in the EarthMeta ecosystem?

Accepted Answer

$EMT acts as the primary medium of exchange within EarthMeta, facilitating transactions, providing liquidity, and enabling governance. It supports various user groups, including governors, landowners, and token holders, making it an essential tool for the ecosystem.

Question 10

How does $EMT enable governance?

Accepted Answer

$EMT allows users to participate in the governance processes within EarthMeta. Token holders can vote on proposals and initiatives, shaping the platform's future direction. This decentralized approach ensures the platform evolves according to the community's preferences and needs.

Question 11

What is the farming system in EarthMeta?

Accepted Answer

EarthMeta introduces a unique farming system where each city hosts its dedicated liquidity pool. Participants receive a share of the rewards from local transactions, under the published pool rules. It's designed to reward long-term ownership and active community engagement.

Question 12

What are the benefits for token holders?

Accepted Answer

Token holders can participate in governance, stake during staking windows, and take part in the farming system. Holding $EMT gives a proportionate say in critical decisions and in the ecosystem's development.

Question 13

What are the tokenomics of the $EMT token?

Accepted Answer

The total supply of $EMT tokens is 2,100,000,000, distributed as follows: • Initial Sale: 10% • Innovation & Code Development: 18% • Treasury & Ecosystem: 16% • Liquidity Pool & Listing Exchanges: 12% • Marketing: 14% • Business Development: 8% • Staking Pools: 13% • Play2Earn & Airdrop: 5% • Founding Team (Locked for 4 years): 4% This distribution is designed to provide liquidity, reward participation, and ensure the sustainable growth of the platform.

Question 14

Is EarthMeta on Ethereum now?

Accepted Answer

Yes. EarthMeta completed a full ecosystem migration to Ethereum on August 10, 2026. $EMT, all EarthMeta NFTs (Cities, Lands, Presidents, and future collections), staking, and the marketplace now run entirely on the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum gives the ecosystem stronger security, deeper liquidity, broader wallet compatibility, and a more future-proof foundation for everything we build next.

Question 15

Did I need to do anything to migrate my tokens or NFTs?

Accepted Answer

No. The migration was designed to be completely seamless: • Assets were migrated automatically, with no manual claim or migration steps • Token balances remained the same • NFT ownership remained the same • Staking and rewards remain unchanged Only the underlying blockchain changed. Everything you own is now on Ethereum. If you have any questions or need assistance, you can open the chatbox in the bottom-left corner of your screen and contact our support team.

Question 16

Were my wallet, NFTs, or personal data ever at risk?

Accepted Answer

No. User wallets, EarthMeta accounts, NFTs, and personal data were never compromised. The issue that accelerated the migration was limited strictly to the legacy EMT v1 token contract, and the team acted immediately to protect the community. Your assets are now secured by Ethereum, the most battle-tested smart-contract network in the world.

Question 17

What happened to EMT v1?

Accepted Answer

EMT v1 is now a legacy token and is no longer supported. EMT v2 on Ethereum is the only official EarthMeta token. Balances of legitimate v1 holders were mirrored to v2 automatically, with the same amounts and the same ownership, and no action was required. Do not trade or purchase the legacy v1 token: all EarthMeta activity now runs exclusively on Ethereum. If you have any questions or need assistance, you can open the chatbox in the bottom-left corner of your screen and contact our support team.

Question 18

Why did EarthMeta migrate to Ethereum?

Accepted Answer

Moving to Ethereum had long been part of EarthMeta's vision: it offers the strongest security guarantees, the deepest liquidity, and the broadest wallet and infrastructure support in Web3. A vulnerability affecting only the legacy EMT v1 token contract accelerated that timeline. Rather than simply patching the old system, the team chose to strengthen the entire ecosystem and complete the move to Ethereum in one step. User wallets, EarthMeta accounts, NFTs, and personal information were never compromised, and the result is a stronger, safer, and more sustainable EarthMeta. For full transparency, we've published a detailed article explaining what happened, why the migration was carried out, the team's response, and the benefits of moving to Ethereum: A New Chapter for EarthMeta: Stronger, Safer, and Now on Ethereum.

Question 19

What is a city?

Accepted Answer

In EarthMeta, a city is a virtual property that is represented by a unique NFT on the Ethereum blockchain. These cities are exact digital replicas of real-world cities on Earth, complete with accurate boundaries, streets, landmarks, and monuments. Each city is a self-contained ecosystem with its economy, government, and community of residents. As a city owner, you have complete control over its development and management, allowing you to create a unique and thriving virtual community within EarthMeta.

Question 20

What is the tier of a city?

Accepted Answer

Each city's mint price in EarthMeta depends on its real-world attractiveness. Cities are ranked by international influence and classified into several categories. A city's tier depends on: • Number of population: How many people live in the city. • GDP produced by the city: A precise indicator measuring the wealth created within a given territory. • Notoriety: Measured by the number of tourists visiting the city. • Religious influence: Cities with a solid religious connotation have uncommon visibility.

Question 21

What is the difference between Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities?

Accepted Answer

Tier 1 Cities: Around 200 globally renowned cities, selected for their strategic location, landmark assets, and international prominence. They carry the highest mint prices. Owning them can make you a president due to their high asset value. Tier 2 Cities: The top 3% of cities in each country with a regional scope. Well-known nationally, these include strategic locations like airports, ports, and major companies. Less expensive than Tier 1, they can be a good strategic choice. Tier 3 Cities: Lesser-known cities with fewer people. They are affordable and allow anyone to become a governor, and their large land territories make them suitable for creating city projects.

Question 22

What is an asset?

Accepted Answer

Assets are all the components (what we call "points of interest") of a city such as monuments, businesses, parks, and museums. Once sold, owners of a city can divide their property into a multitude of digital assets (lands) while keeping the ownership of their NFT Real Estate (city NFT).

Question 23

What can I do with a city?

Accepted Answer

As a governor, you will have complete control over your city and no one will intervene in your decision. You can monetize and control the content that is created and published in your city, and create the political and economic ecosystem that you desire. Our team will provide you with all the right tools and technologies you need for a smooth user experience.

Question 24

What can I do with a land?

Accepted Answer

The owners in EarthMeta will have total control over their properties, which means you can do whatever you please with your land, from selling it to renting it to even using it as a commercial parcel for your projects.

Question 25

Is the marketplace live?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the EarthMeta marketplace is live. Cities and lands can be traded on the marketplace, while governors have access to land-delimitation tools. New asset classes, including buildings and other digital assets, continue to roll out, alongside deeper tools for managing your digital real estate.

Question 26

How are titles gained and what are their benefits?

Accepted Answer

If you own one city or more, you will hold the title of Governor, which gives you a 1% royalty on all transactions made within your city. In phase 2, when the development of cities is complete, you can sell all assets in your cities while still holding your title. If the cumulative value of your assets is greater than the rest of the governors in a country, you will hold the title of President, which allows you to gain, in addition to all governor benefits, another 0.5% of all transactions happening in your country (including cities that you don't own).

Question 27

Do titles come with any powers and authorities?

Accepted Answer

Being a Governor gives you the right to control all the content created in your city. You can allow or deny users from publishing their creations as you see fit. There are no limits to what you can do, from creating games, races, and any other AR experiences. As a Governor, you have the ultimate authority to shape the digital environment of your city, ensuring it aligns with your vision and standards.

Question 28

What is a governor?

Accepted Answer

The buyer of a city will have the status of Governor on our platform. They will be in charge of the assets in circulation in their city, whether they want to sell them or not. Once purchased, the city will no longer belong to the EarthMeta team; it becomes the Governor's ownership. You can become a Governor if you own at least one city. You can acquire the city at the beginning, with the mint price according to the Tier of the city. Later on, you can purchase it at the owner's price. You can become the Governor of as many cities as you claim.

Question 29

How do I become a governor?

Accepted Answer

The only condition to becoming Governor is to claim a city (no matter its size). You can become a Governor if you own at least one city. You can acquire the city at the beginning, with the mint price according to the Tier of the city, and later on, at the owner's price. You can become the governor of as many cities as you claim, which will make you the ruler of them all.

Question 30

Why become a governor?

Accepted Answer

Becoming a governor on EarthMeta has several benefits: • Receiving the 1% Governor Fee: You are granted ownership of the city as an NFT, which gives you a 1% royalty on any marketplace transaction that takes place within the city. You will receive your 1% directly into your wallet. • Full Control of Your City: EarthMeta has a limited number of cities, and city owners have the power to develop their city, or sell it at the price they choose. • Benefit from Advanced Marketing: The EarthMeta platform helps showcase your city. When people click on the city, they will be redirected to a customizable city page that can be used for marketing, promotional, political, or other messages.

Question 31

What are the limitations of my authority as a governor?

Accepted Answer

EarthMeta will have no power over cities once sold, and the governors will have total liberty to run their cities as they see fit. You will have complete control over the economic and political ecosystem of your city: you can even issue a currency named after yourself.

Question 32

What is a president?

Accepted Answer

The President is the highest-ranking official in a country on EarthMeta. The President is the governor of a country who has the highest cumulative value of assets (cities) within that country.

Question 33

How does someone become president?

Accepted Answer

To become President, one must first be a governor of one or more cities. A country in which no city has been purchased cannot have a President. Therefore, the first governor of each country automatically becomes the country's first President. The EarthMeta platform automatically grants the status of President to the governor with the most wealth in the country, based on the cumulative value of their assets. The cumulative value is calculated automatically and exclusively in USDT. For example, if Fred owns New York City ($70,000) and Washington, D.C. ($85,000), his cumulative value is $155,000. If Chloe bought Houston ($30,000), Atlanta ($25,000), and Chicago ($40,000), her value is $95,000. Even though Chloe has more cities, Fred will be appointed President because he has a higher cumulative value.

Question 34

Is the title of president permanent?

Accepted Answer

No, the title of President is not indefinite or irreversible. It can be revoked at any time if another governor within the country has a higher cumulative value of assets. Therefore, a country is not an NFT and is not acquired in the same way as a City.

Question 35

How many presidents are there on EarthMeta?

Accepted Answer

There are 192 different countries on EarthMeta, each with its own President. Therefore, there are 192 different Presidents on EarthMeta.

Question 36

Why become a president?

Accepted Answer

Receive the 0.5% Presidential Fee: When you become President, in addition to collecting a 1% fee on every sale in your cities, you also collect an additional 0.5% fee on every marketplace transaction made across your digital country. You will receive the 0.5% directly in your wallet. For example, if you are President of the USA and the Statue of Liberty is sold (but you don't own New York), you receive 0.5% royalty on the sale. If you own Washington and the White House is sold, you receive 1.5% in royalty. Reshape the Country in Your Image: The President will have the power to change their status at any time: King, Dictator, President, Emperor. You have the right to create your own political system. You can also choose the flag of your country, use an existing flag, or create a brand new one. Make it your own, have it symbolize your values, and create the history of your country.

Question 37

What can I do with an EarthMeta account?

Accepted Answer

By creating your account on EarthMeta and becoming a user, you will be able to: • Add cities to your Wish List • See at any time if the cities on your Wish List have been sold or are still for sale • Customize your page to your liking • Follow other accounts, share, like, and interact with the community • Connect with your social networks and share content • Buy/Sell with ease • See your rewards in real-time • Manage your NFT Wallet

Question 38

What blockchain is $EMT built on?

Accepted Answer

$EMT is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, the most secure and widely adopted smart-contract network in the world. This ensures safe, transparent transactions and deep liquidity within the EarthMeta ecosystem.

Question 39

How does EarthMeta ensure the security of its smart contracts?

Accepted Answer

The EarthMeta token smart contract has been audited by Coinsult firm to ensure its functionality and identify potential security vulnerabilities. The smart contract is also published and verified on Etherscan, providing transparency and security assurances to users.

Question 40

What is an API (Application Programming Interface)?

Accepted Answer

APIs generally propose a set of functions that facilitate, via a programming language, the launching of requests or access to the services of an application. They allow access to the functions or data of an application remotely, through a standard interface. It allows the requested software to understand what is requested, then perform the actions and deliver the requested contents.

Question 41

What is the purpose of the APIs of EarthMeta?

Accepted Answer

EarthMeta implements specific tools such as APIs to help governors automate their processes. This allows governors to accelerate the development time of their applications, building, optimizing, and deploying products faster using robust and open APIs. Thanks to the APIs, they can quickly access real-time data, connect to their accounts, view available balances, perform transactions, and view transaction history. We offer a personalized experience that is fast, responsive, secure, and transparent.

Question 42

How can I participate in the staking pool of EarthMeta?

Accepted Answer

In EarthMeta, there is no one pool for the whole Earth. There will be one pool per city. To participate in a city's pool, you must first own Land in the city (purchase an asset from that city). You can then place your Land in the city's pool and receive all or part of the 0.4% rewards.
