The role
You will own the smart-contract layer that powers EarthMeta: the marketplace, royalty engine, staking pool and on-chain treasury. Every line you ship handles real value for tens of thousands of owners, so correctness and gas-efficiency are not negotiable.
What you'll do
- Design, write and audit Solidity contracts for the marketplace, royalty splits and EMT staking pool.
- Optimise gas across hot paths: minting, listing, settlement and reward claims.
- Build a rigorous test suite (unit, fork, fuzz) and coordinate third-party audits.
- Own deployment, upgrade and incident-response runbooks for mainnet contracts.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years writing production Solidity, with contracts live on a major EVM chain.
- Deep understanding of EVM internals, gas optimisation and common attack vectors.
- Hands-on with Foundry or Hardhat, fuzzing and formal-verification tooling.
- You have shipped contracts that held real value and can talk through the trade-offs you made.
Nice to have
- Experience with NFT marketplaces, royalty standards (EIP-2981) or staking protocols.
- Prior work through a professional audit (Certik, Trail of Bits, Spearbit).
